North Adams, MA – MountainOne Bank continues to expand its mortgage banking team, with the recent additions of Richard Shelton as Area Manager for Mortgage Banking, and David McVay and David Murray as Senior Mortgage Originators, according to an announcement by Peter Radigan, MountainOne Bank Senior Vice President for Consumer Lending / Mortgage Banking.
Stated Radigan, “MountainOne Bank continues to grow and mortgage lending is an integral part of the Bank’s strategic plan. There is demand for knowledgeable and experienced assistance with the complex home buying process, and our expanded team brings that expertise to our local markets.”
RICHARD SHELTON, JR.
Richard Shelton, Jr. will serve as Area Manager for Mortgage Banking for the South Shore area, and is located in MountainOne Bank’s Rockland office. In addition to loan origination, he is charged with expanding the Bank’s South Shore lending team.
Shelton brings over 20 years of mortgage lending experience to MountainOne Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT. He currently resides in Abington, MA.
DAVID MCVAY
David McVay has been named Senior Mortgage Originator, and is located in the Bank’s Danvers office. McVay will work to expand the mortgage loan base in MountainOne’s North Shore market.
Prior to joining MountainOne Bank, McVay worked in Arlington, MA as a Senior Loan Officer. He brings decades of mortgage lending experience to MountainOne Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Boston College. He lives in Lynnfield, MA, with his wife, Donna; they have two grown daughters.
DAVID MURRAY
David Murray has been named Senior Mortgage Originator, and is also located in the Danvers office. In addition to expanding the mortgage loan base in MountainOne’s North Shore market, he will also have responsibility for recruiting new lenders.
Prior to joining MountainOne Bank, Murray worked in Boston as a Senior Loan Officer. Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk Law School in Boston. He is a licensed attorney and real estate broker. He lives in Gloucester, MA, with his long-time partner, Joanna.
