MountainOne Celebrates National Wellness Month

Did you know August is National Wellness Month — a time to prioritize self-care, manage stress, and create healthy routines? Which is why MountainOne’s ‘Journey to Wellness Committee’ wants to know:

What does Wellness mean to YOU?

Because wellness could mean something different to each person. In fact, according to the MindBody app, there are 7 dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, occupational):

Depending on what wellness means to you, here are several ways to improve one’s overall wellbeing, as recommended by livelovespa and nationaltoday:

  • keeping a gratitude journal,
  • getting outside,
  • moving your body,
  • practicing mindfulness,
  • connecting with others,
  • trying a new healthy recipe,
  • eating more fruits & veggies,
  • increasing water intake, and
  • monitoring sleep.
