Did you know August is National Wellness Month — a time to prioritize self-care, manage stress, and create healthy routines? Which is why MountainOne’s ‘Journey to Wellness Committee’ wants to know:
What does Wellness mean to YOU?
Because wellness could mean something different to each person. In fact, according to the MindBody app, there are 7 dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, occupational):
Depending on what wellness means to you, here are several ways to improve one’s overall wellbeing, as recommended by livelovespa and nationaltoday:
- keeping a gratitude journal,
- getting outside,
- moving your body,
- practicing mindfulness,
- connecting with others,
- trying a new healthy recipe,
- eating more fruits & veggies,
- increasing water intake, and
- monitoring sleep.
